This February is Erie Life Magazine's one-year anniversary. To celebrate this occasion, we want to give you some of the stories behind the stories. From a restauranteur who was less than impressed with our mystery food critic to being snubbed by barber shops, our first year was a story in and of itself. February is also our love issue and we wanted to show our readers some of the bands, educational programs, restaurants, and businesses we love. We have also included a special bridal section to help you plan for your big day and our "Aging Smart" section introduces you to several couples that prove love is ageless. In honor of Black History Month we met some of our community's most influential African-Americans and discussed growing up in segregation and how they got to where they are today. We hope you enjoyed our first year as much as we did working on it. Erie Life Magazine is what it is today because of the support of our readers and advertisers and for that we thank you.
